MENTORSHIP DETAILS

All of you have already been connected to your mentors over email. Make sure to follow up on the intro email before your in-person meeting.

Your mentors are the people you'll be doing work with 1:1 outside of the group sessions.

You’ll meet with your mentors 1:1 once during the program (unless you agree on additional meetings directly with your mentors).

MENTORSHIP GUIDELINES & BEST PRACTICES:

Remember that your mentors are volunteering their time, so please make good use of it. Come prepared to all meetings with clear objectives and an agenda.

Before your face-to-face meeting, share an overview of your company, your near-term priorities, and the objectives you have for the program and the mentor relationship in general.

Take into account your mentor's background and expertise - do your research (look at their LinkedIn's, company website, etc) and be very specific in your asks.

While your mentor may offer to make introductions or be helpful in other ways, don’t presume you have unlimited access to their network, and be thoughtful about your requests.
